*the author happily jumps in.. Hehe. * Well, i'm sorta happy today cuz' I got an almost perfect score today in our quiz. :D But kinda disappointed cuz' these past few quizzes of mine, I have been gathering a couple of perfect scores. Heh. <3
Anyway... Here is an over view of what we discussed today: Nuclear fusion is the process by which multiple atomic particles join together to form a heavier nucleus. It is accompanied by the release or absorption of energy. Iron and nickel nuclei have the largest binding energies per nucleon of all nuclei and therefore are the most stable. The fusion of two nuclei lighter than iron or nickel generally releases energy while the fusion of nuclei heavier than iron or nickel absorbs energy; vice-versa for the reverse process, nuclear fission. But i'll just keep on doing my best." -edda *hehehe... the author is now freaking out.. err.. signing out.*
