The component method is more accurate compared to the graphical method but it takes more of you and it eats you.. Hehe. I mean it takes alot of patience from you and it requires you to have the ability to manipulate basic math. :)
Here are the steps:
1. Prepare a scratch paper and a pencil(highly recommended. :p)
2. Make a table with three columns: vector, x-component, y-component
3. Locate the middle tiangle in the school lobby.
4. Then, look for X and Y components using the trigo functions.. (SOHCAHTOA)
5. Find the sum of x and y components. Then calculate for the average. :)
6. Finally, to be able to calculate your magdnitude, use the pythagorean theorem and for the direction, use the inverse tangent function.
..That's all there is to that(for me)! :)
